The original tracks belong to artists as varied as... Soda Stereo, Nine Inch Nails, the ever-remembered Jeanette, Depeche Mode, Amy Winehouse, King Changó, Aterciopelados, Inti Illimani, Babasónicos, Celia Cruz, Javiera Mena and Ulises Butrón. Their versions were performed in ranchera, pop, rock, cumbia, ska, folk, punk, and traditional music styles by artists from Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, and Chile, some of whom reside in Great Britain and the United States.
