The female presence at Rock al Parque grows every year on its stages. That not only excites us, but also confirms that a large part of the music we see on our stages is led by women from across the continent. They have as much or even more of a sense of avant-garde than the usual projects of male artists. At the festival last year, we saw great performances such as those by Bambarabanda, Pedrina y Río, Elsa y elmar and others, whose repertoires and staging thrilled the audience in a special way. It is time for Idartes, the festival's organizing body, to make a greater effort to invite more female groups and solo artists to participate in this event., to be more in line with the reality of the local music scene and serving as a showcase for all of Latin America to learn about their talent.

We recall the images captured by our photographer Simona Malaika, Regarding what she saw during the concerts, Simona, a member of the Zonagirante.com staff for several years, has a particular sensitivity to the subject and happily embraces her role during the festival. She recently began contributing to Arcadia Magazine, Colombia's leading cultural publication. Her work is already recognized in her city's music circles, and we have no doubt that during Rock al Parque 2017... He will continue to move us with his images.
