Between July 2nd and 4th, in the Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park of Bogotá, A new edition of Latin America's largest free festival will take place, Rock al Parque. After the initial announcements several weeks ago, confirming the presence of the event's heaviest acts, it's now time for a lineup of bands with a more varied sound, some with profound political commentary, others with more celebratory motivations. Some draw on classic rock roots, a few incorporate extreme sounds, and others are steeped in the rich folklore of Latin America. Many of these proposals have decades of history behind them. And they have plenty of reasons to participate in Rock al Parque. Most of the artists on this lineup will be performing at the festival for the first time. This year's lineup includes artists from Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Mexico, Spain, and various regions of Colombia.
The second list of groups invited for this edition is as follows:
–Gustavo Cordera (Argentina)
–Cyanide Candies (Venezuela)
–Filippi's Hands (Argentina)
– Shock Band (Chili)
–Old (Mexico)
–Against The Waves (Spain)
–Synergy (Chili)
–The Nastys (Spain)
–Criminal Nation (Bello, Antioquia, Colombia)
–Ghetto Warriors (Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia)
–Bambarabanda (Pasto, Nariño, Colombia)
–Puerto Candelaria (Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia)
