Comes back Rock al Parque, The most popular free festival in Latin America. And it's popular, not only because it draws hundreds of thousands of people over three days, but because all social classes and all races are found there, Locals and visitors alike in a cosmopolitan city that can't quite believe how big it is, and the kindest hearts seeking to enjoy the best music of the moment. Yes, we try to get poetic because always, at this time of year, even though we argue about how it's done and what its purpose is, We are happy to be back experiencing Rock al Parque, our festival.

With this note we begin an intense series of articles that will include chronicles, news, commentaries, photos, videos and other details to continue providing coverage that is worthy of the event. Hopefully our work will continue to sustain and, perhaps, increase the large audience that follows us during the festival.

To recap some of what we've done in previous days, we've selected some of the best portraits taken by our friend and photographer Oscar Perfer, Oscar, of whom it's no exaggeration to say he's one of the best professionals in Colombia (it's not just us saying this, the renowned artist Ruven Afanador affirms it). Oscar enjoys strolling through Simón Bolívar Park, capturing the unique beauty of the pageant attendees. He loves the days when the stage fills with punks and He celebrates with his camera the wide variety of characters he encounters during concerts. We are thrilled to have Oscar on our team and that you can see his work every day of the festival.

In short, Rock al Parque 2017, whose official dates are July 1, 2 and 3, officially kicks off today at Zonagirante.com. Thank you for being with us again.
