Today the District Institute of the Arts (Idartes), has announced more additions to its celebration lineup of the twenty-five years of Rock al Parque. While awaiting confirmation of the winners of the district competition, where the local talent that will represent the city at the event will be announced, here are the latest updates:
–The Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra He will perform a special show featuring rock songs from the city, accompanied by a house band comprised of renowned musicians from the capital's music scene, including Alejandro Gomescaceres, Rafael Bonilla, Juanita Carvajal, Mauricio Montenegro, and Juan Gabriel Turbay, who have been part of groups such as Blind, deaf-mutes, Velvet, The Right and Esteman.
-Four new generation Mexican bands have been added to the list of participants, through the alliances and relationships of promotion, collaboration, support and artistic development that Festival Rock al Parque has with Mexican festivals Hell & Heaven Metal Fest y «"Rock for Life"», as well as the Intolerance seal and the Intolerant Tent of the Ibero-American Festival of Musical Culture Live Latino. These are Here Comes The Kraken, Black Cowboy , Puerquerama y The Warning. .
