The Carnival of Blacks and Whites It's the biggest festival in southern Colombia. It takes place in Grass and its surroundings from January 2nd to 7th, and its origin is the fusion of multiple cultures and expressions, originating from the Andes, the Amazon and the Pacific. Games, music, dance, and floats bring this cultural festival to life with playful expression in the urban space.

Bambarabanda It is a highly representative group of this region. Its members, connected to their roots, incorporate this grand celebration into their musical and aesthetic concept., seeking to offer a similar joyful experience in their show. For the past 10 years they have produced an event for locals and tourists who come to the city and who, for particular reasons, do not have the opportunity to see them live.  Party or Fear? was the name that championed this dance in 2017, which, despite being framed within the festivities of the Carnival of Blacks and Whites, It is an independent show that has gained significant momentum and widespread recognition among the city's residents., who can live a beautiful festive experience away from the noise of the institutional stages.

By then, hundreds of people filled La Plazoleta La Casona to dance without fear and evoke with the sounds of Bambarabanda the place where they come from, or where they are., commemorating the pleasure and good fortune of living at the foot of a volcanoThe guests of the evening were the members of Fabulous Caracha Sextet, a volcanic chicha cumbia group that has been taking over bars and various stages in the department of Nariño and has been very popular among the people thanks to its flavor and interpretive quality.
