After another edition of Sonar Barcelona (the original) drew 120,000 people, the first artists for the Bogotá version have been announced. The third edition will take place on December 2nd at the Hipódromo de Los Andes, located in the north of the city. The following artists have been confirmed: Sigur Rós (Iceland), Nina Kraviz (Russia), Dubfire (Iran/United States), Roman Flügel (Germany), Tokimonsta (USA), Pantha du Prince (Germany), Barnt (Germany), Ela Minus (Colombia), The Lazy One (Argentina), Julian Mayorga (Colombia) and Mateo Rivano (Colombia). While we await the rest of the guest list, we can wait until then. a day full of techno, acid house, Latin fusion and some hip hop.
The confirmed Latin component includes El Remolón, an Argentinian artist signed to the prestigious ZZK Records label, which has spread its electronic cumbia sound throughout the continent, is also featured. Also included are Julián Mayorga, who represented the Colombian music scene at the last Sónar Barcelona 2017, and Mateo Rivano, a multimedia artist known in the graphic arts world for his album covers for Frente Cumbiero, Los Pirañas, Quantic, Romperayo, and others.
