We begin our year-end special on Zonagirante with an activity that we find extremely fun: The review and selection of the best Latin American underground album covers in 2018. For this, we have turned, as usual, to our favorite music platform, Bandcamp, To see what independent bands and artists from across the continent have put online, we've traveled to every country in our continent to capture the best album artwork, including diverse pieces created with varied techniques and intense originality. We have selected more than seventy projects that have caught our attention for their daring, their humor, their striking colors, or simply because they have immediately captivated us at first glance. There's everything: illustrations, photographs, unique uses of typography, and truly impressive abstract representations. At the same time, we have compiled a list of all the musicians who benefited from this excellent graphic design work., So that, if they have the time and inclination, they can immerse themselves in a broad sample of the new music from this side of the world, knowing that much of it is not played on the radio.
