Editor's note: The man in the photo is Santiago Rivas. Some of you have seen him. Others know him from his high-profile television and radio appearances. For several years he has taken on the co-direction of the Rock al Parque specials that we have done at Zonagirante.com. I don't know if you know, but Rivas studied Fine Arts at the National University of Colombia (he is a great example of the professionals who have graduated from the public university, contradicting, like so many thousands more, the stigmatization that the main media make of this type of institution). Rivas always carries a few notebooks during the festival to draw what he sees on stage. His idea isn't to contradict the photographers. His aim is to add another dimension to the event, and to describe with his photographs the movement captured on stage. This year, prominent artists such as Como asesinar a Felipes, Mon La Ferte, Obituary, 8BM, and many others, which you will be pleased to recognize in this gallery, have been featured in their work. It's a great piece of work, which you can see in detail on our Instagram (@spinning zoneWe hope you enjoy this artistic work created while the speakers were booming in Simón Bolívar.
