Editor's Note from Zonagirante.com: Bogotá lights up with art, music, and community gatherings. The Secretariat of Culture, Recreation, and Sports presents a special program of Christmas activities that transform the city into a vibrant stage: concerts, shows, tours, workshops, and celebrations designed for community enjoyment.
At Zonagirante.com, we celebrate these initiatives that reaffirm our cultural identity and our unique way of inhabiting public space. We invite everyone to go out, discover, and participate. This is a season to feel part of Bogotá, through creativity and culture.
The community is also a key player in Christmas is Culture 2025. This year, the following were selected: 18 Christmas Blocks from different points in Bogotá, as a result of the alliance between the Secretariat of Culture, Recreation and Sport and Olímpica Stereo, within the framework of the strategy Living Neighborhoods.
The initiative sought to highlight city blocks that joined together to decorate with recycled and reusable materials, They maintained clean spaces and built a collective, intergenerational celebration. 207 proposals were received and 18 were chosen, evaluated based on criteria of creativity, sustainability, and community organization.
Of the December 1-15, Each winning block will receive Music, special guests, family activities, traditional Christmas dishes, and surprises for girls and boys, turning each space into a neighborhood meeting point and celebration.

This effort is part of the spirit of Living Neighborhoods, a cultural innovation strategy that drives community processes, strengthens trust among neighbors and promotes pride in living in Bogotá.
In these blocks, Christmas isn't experienced through shop windows or imposed decorations: it's built from the ground up, with creativity, music, collective affection, and a genuine commitment to the environment. A reminder that the city is transformed when culture is born from encounter and collaborative work.
All programming is free and of free admission until full capacity is reached.
