Christmas in the Caribbean brings with it party hits to enjoy at family gatherings and street parties. It's the time when the most popular orchestras present their entire repertoire to get listeners dancing and to put them, as they say, "to shine the tiles"« until dawn, or until the feast that preceded the dance takes effect. This has been the case for many, many years, and it is because of the passage of time that the bands that remain have endured. They can add to their song list their own versions of classic songs that delighted the older generation.
The Venezuelan group Public Disorder, In the midst of celebrating his thirty-year career, he decided to invite Gustavo Aguado, singer of Guaco, legendary Zulia orchestra, to participate in the performance of Amparito, an original song by Ricardo Portillo from 1977 and popularized in the version performed by Maracaibo 15. As expected, Amparito In the hands of Desorden Público, it takes on a ska flavor and is, as they themselves explain, "abundant in clave, leather, and son." The result? A song that regains its strength and innovates its sound, while remaining a more than suitable track for the upcoming festivities.
Desorden Público remains relevant and the passing of years only adds to its vitality, making it impossible to remove them from their position among the most outstanding bands in Latin America.
