Dear musician friend, yes, you, the one who has constantly heard about the market, the use of social media, and strategies to be constantly heard on digital platforms. You, who are looking for the best representative to be able to leave your city and travel the world. You, who crave fame and the consequences that come with it (girls, money, legal and illegal fun, love from strangers), You've probably never heard of this Argentinian character named Diego Billordo. Or perhaps so, because he will have read a couple of reviews on Zonagirante.com and therefore will know that in recent years, as he himself announces on his Twitter account, He has "33 tours, 18 videos, 12 albums, 2 hands, 1 heart"«.Completely self-managed, without the need for a band, representative, image consultant, or community manager., He has performed over six hundred concerts on his own, He's toured his country from end to end and completed an extensive European tour this year, which he's already confirmed he'll repeat in 2018. Yes, him, Diego Billordo, with his acoustic guitar, his Sonic Youth t-shirts and other vintage alternative bands, and his peculiar compositions. He records his albums however he can, even with his cell phone, and doesn't have the support of any celebrities, nor does the mainstream media pay him any attention, but surely more than one of the readers of this article will be thinking that what he does is worth imitating.

Billordo is releasing his new album, called AAntifolk Troubadour, a compilation of four songs made in a format that we could call "digital craftsmanship"«He uses the basics to record his songs, from a laptop and a microphone to a smartphone from the third-to-last generation. It doesn't need anything more. The boy doesn't overcomplicate things, and yet he still manages to create entertaining recordings, which together add up to just seven minutes in total.

Billordo proves once again with Antifolk Troubadour To contain the true punk spirit, it is not necessary to fall into the cliché of the misguided scream or the exaggerated distortion. He fights the system more effectively in this way, Touring the world without unnecessary glamour, with his six-string acoustic guitar, and accumulating followers he finds personally and directly all over the world. Not bad for an artist whom many of his colleagues consider misguided without knowing what they're talking about.
