Recent electronic music in Ecuador stands out worldwide for its unique sound and the distinctive feel it achieves in its mixes., where there is the possibility of celebration, but, at the same time, where the revelry wears a suit with a mountain aroma, of pure mountain air, A layer of peace integrated into nature that contains that pause, that moment of slowing down amidst the frenzy. The image that comes to mind when certain passages of Renata Nieto's music, the project's sole creator, are played. LaTorre, It's like a postcard from the moor, where some choose to celebrate the company of the moors with intense activity, while others prefer to lie down beside them, gazing at the sky., finding shelter in the calm of the heights.
Nieto's music, in his solo project, began to gain popularity a couple of years ago, with tracks like Temporal, my soul and, especially, To be eternal They had a strong impact, attracting attention in specialized circles on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.. In the midst of the pandemic, Nieto, in collaboration with the Spanish label Raso Studio, and the publishing house Warner Chappell, has compiled most of his singles and has invited to prominent Ecuadorian, Mexican, and Iberian artists (Miel, Quiero Club, Baiuca, among others), so that they can reinterpret each of these songs in their own way, and together create a nine-track album aptly titled, Reincarnations.
