What is music? What is noise? Do they even need to be defined? What if the mind doesn't distinguish between them?

I listen to the sound work Anathema of Humberto Polar. I hear depth, environments that breathe and naturally mutate. Between light and darkness, moments of calm and despair, exhaustion and satisfaction. Each artist reflects their inner self in their art. Abstraction is a beautiful poem; here, more than songs, states of being, moments, a sensory experience are shared.

It's like stepping into a boat that sails on its own, carrying you through the mist to discover unknown worlds where frequencies define each moment. It's not always easy; sometimes it's dense and unsettling. The sounds generate sensations in the body, and they aren't always pleasant. It's a good reflection of reality. Subtle, like the circular oscillation in the eternal spiral of existence.

I find the exploration of sonic textures on this album fascinating, as it combines different types of sounds with different sources, instruments, or electrical and electronic impulses. Instead of harmonic clarity, there is...a kind of coherence between consonances and dissonances fulfilling sIts purpose lies within an environmental and rather experimental context. Although it generally evokes very ethereal sensations regarding the materiality or plasticity of the sounds, a cold, industrial, and metallic atmosphere is perceptible in an immense space. The true Ambient!

Personally, I really enjoy it when what I'm listening to completely distracts me. It's not often that the mind goes silent, except perhaps during meditation, but there are sonic experiences like this., that are so particular to our ears and our brain, that totally captivate you, demand attention, take hold of you to take you on a journey where, like when you are being carried along by a river, you flow better by relaxing, letting yourself be surprised and enjoying.

These types of proposals challenge the listener not to make aesthetic or technical judgments. I believe that this is a valuable exercise for the mind and, consequently, for the being: to know without judging, to listen without responding, simply to receive, to feel, to contemplate. There are things that cannot be understood through thought, There are things that can only be understood through the senses and experience.
