Another confession: It makes me happy when people who, at first glance, seem nice, without airs of grandeur or need for exaggeration, make extraordinary music. And even more so when his art, which receives such a distinguished label, sounds so easy, so accessible, so possible to make your own with just one listen. Puebla, This group, made up of three women and three men, who could look like our lifelong neighbors, is a band that creates endearing songs with little touches of magic. and with exquisite work of melodies that, from the first second, moves you.

This group from La Plata, Argentina, upon releasing their fourth album, called The Thirst, made under the production of Mauro Cambarieri, He is living his best moment, including tours in his country, and in Europe (Spain and Portugal, for the moment), And managing to capture the attention of her growing audience, she's arrived there with eight songs that seem to have been crafted to soothe and seduce the beast within. Here, she speaks of our tears and our celebrations, accepting that they are already powerful emotions without the need for shouting or exaltation, and trying to find a quiet and tender beauty even in the most mundane moments. Her lyrics can be read as personal diary entries, where there is an effort to find meaning in every word that is said, May each word touch our ears and allow us to accept that everything we experience is valuable, even without notable peaks or troughs, because time in its entirety belongs to us. To perhaps better understand this feeling, we can quote texts taken from its melody. Cruise speed, made in the company of The idiot prince:

It seems that we miss something in the noise
And the water runs out.
And the fever is very high.
And I can get burned
The water is running out.
And the fever is very high.
And I can get burned (get burned)
Dance, dance
Uh, uh, uh-uh-uh, uh
And the water runs out.
And the fever is very high.
And I can get burned
And the water runs out.
And the fever is very high.
And I can get burned
With the tranquility of a volcano
I'm going to approach

Puebla sounds, especially on this new album, like poetic indie folk, which sustains its recordings with exciting vocal interplay and instrumental details that have their orchestral moments. The Thirst It's a beautiful compilation (in the best sense of the word), built and crafted with heart, honesty, and, I'd like to guess, a desire to bring people together around it. And that group of people may soon grow to thousands (hopefully) around the world. We must accept beauty as an everyday fact.
