In Chile, due to the economic openings experienced in past decades, contemporary music became filled with machines. Perhaps for this reason, it is one of the Latin American countries that has had the most development in the area of "technological" pop. Among its artists, we have many excellent examples who have shone both on the local scene and beyond its borders, Among them we can mention Dënver, Entrópica, Ases Falsos, Javiera Mena, MKRNI and, in case it were necessary to name them, The Prisoners (those from the nineties, those from the album) HeartsWell, the circle continues to grow and is in good health, since, being in the third month of 2024, we can include a new title within the genre's catalog: Landscapes, of the trio Zebra 93.

This project, currently made up of Julia Grisenti, Alfredo Ibarra and Miguel Irarrázaval, It was founded in 2013 and a few days ago released its second album, which contains twelve songs, some of which were included in promotions and editions made during the past year. Landscapes It's a compilation of tunes done in an undeniably pop style. It has many elements reminiscent of funk, electro, and soul., and several of its cuts can be used as a good party starter, as the crowd arrives and fills the feast. It is a stylized album, with an exquisite sound made between analog and digital, which at times evokes memories of some of the more tranquil pieces of disco music from the seventies. Grisenti's delicate voice clearly shows her effort to shine through. (often surrounded by subtle reverberations), the elegant interplay of guitars amidst the machine sounds, and the splendid selection of textures from the keyboards. Among the recordings, the promotional singles stand out. Sunrise, Romantic y Hunch. Similarly, with a similar flash, we recommend Wolf, A track with a particularly striking vocal performance, notable for the sensitivity and sensuality it conveys.
