Let's start by stating something irrefutable: The Argentine musician Chino Mansutti (Friend of the house) and his entire team are crazy. Completely insane. This is coming from a moderate acrophobe, who can't safely lean over the edge of a terrace from the tenth floor upwards. Seeing Mansutti and his band (Los Cronopios) playing on the tower of a suspension bridge, many meters high, with the narrowness of the platform and, surely, with an absurd number of fellow citizens of Santa Fe, watching to make sure nobody falls, is, as the Spaniards (the good and the bad ones) would say, awesome. What artists will do to get attention, huh.

Within the framework of the 450th anniversary of the founding of his hometown, Chino decided, with the local production company We Are Project next to him, to do a live session of 5 songs, as dusk approached. The project, in its execution, involved more than 20 people working on the bridge's pillars and in its immediate vicinity, and the operation of smart cameras and drones. Hernán Retamoso, ...a brilliant performance during the recital. The full performance will be shown next year, but for now we have a preview, with the song Dance, and a documentary presented by the production company about the entire operation.

The making of this production It was declared of tourist interest by the Municipal Tourism Entity SAFETUR and of cultural interest by the Santa Fe City Council, becoming part of the city's audiovisual heritage. As narrated in the documentary, with several days of preparation and the ongoing collaboration of local public institutions, it was possible to stop vehicular traffic over the structure and avoid any mishaps during this crazy project. During filming, we are assured, there were no human or animal injuries., And it seems that all the teams performed up to the task.

For those unfamiliar with Chino Mansutti's music, I highly recommend listening to his latest album, called For the Good, a beautiful compilation of nine songs, which we reviewed a few weeks ago, where we describe the sound of this artist, as a sum of «"Beatlesque influences, hints of funk, lots of soul, and what some might call 'that unmistakable Argentine sound'"««, Good, timeless pop with unforgettable melodies. For those who were able to enjoy his recordings (and for those who are just getting to know Chino), We recommend you stay tuned for the premiere of the entire session., which, of course, we'll announce immediately on our homepage. In the meantime, don't look down, focus on the screen.
