ConcoEndless summer

Remember those classic promotional presentations where serious advertisers showcase the attractions of a tourist city to entice more visitors? Well, here's something completely different. This Puerto Rican duo has created a colorful and fun alternative guide to San Juan, complete with an inflatable unicorn. With a pleasant disco/tropical/pop musical base, the members of this project assume the role of joyful ambassadors,  taking the viewer on a tour of the most vibrant spots in his city, from a go-kart track and a bridge that seems easy to jump off without dying, to a basketball court with a floor covered in a vast rainbow. Finally, as if there weren't enough film footage, and taking advantage of the abrupt change in the moment dembow From the tune, they emerge, accompanied by the helpful horned and winged animal, to hand out ice cream in the street. In short, let's celebrate Conco's marvelous narrative anarchy.

The Fox Zapata – I can make more mistakes

It's a strange clip, where many elements intersect, each telling its own story. Not just anyone would have believed this combination of narrative styles and such disparate images. Fortunately, La Zorra Zapata pulls off this collage of pieces well, with texts that feel like journeys through time, and snapshots from her current stay in Berlin, where she's indulged herself by playing at being blonde and showing off her love and joy amidst her travels. Of course, it must be said: All of this works because, as with all good videos, what unites everything is the unique musical style of this Peruvian woman., A very special artist who makes a difference in every piece she creates. That's why her popularity continues to grow.

Wandering FishThe kingdom is upside down

Finally, the most intense sound. On screen, we have audiovisual material that offers no respite throughout its four minutes and forty seconds, in which, at each point that marks the rhythm of the song, the editing of this video jolts the audience so that they do not get lost amidst the saturation of visual information imposed upon them. This Colombian trio brings us a clip that reminds us of obvious graphic moments from nineties bands like Stone Temple Pilots or Alice in Chains, to name a few that come to mind. Some may complain about seeing how, yet again, they're going back almost thirty years to recapture that aesthetic, but others might say that, given the excellent execution of the music and the film editing, this journey to the past is well worth it to recover lost gems and use them effectively today. What Pez Errante does works and is enjoyable, and that's what matters.
