Nortec: Bostich + Fusible ft. Rubén AlbarránConvince me

Everything about this project is astonishing. First, seeing such names come together to create a song. Bringing together these legends, who supposedly belong to worlds with little common ground, is striking, and even without hearing the final mix, it sparks immense curiosity. However, anyone who drew a parallel to the collaboration between the Chemical Brothers and Noel Gallagher or Unkle and Michael Kiwanuka is sorely mistaken. And this is where the biggest surprises lie: The sonic outcome is not very similar to what the Tijuana natives have done previously, nor is it very close to what Café Tacuba has released throughout their career. In a bold way, it sounds more like a contemporary tarantella, very fun, ready to get everyone dancing at any local fair. To top it all off, the futuristic Western-inspired animation makes the whole thing a unique and quite enjoyable piece.

Latenaz + Beautiful Resident – Good luck

Are you still looking for festive songs to help you break the boring routine of Christmas celebrations, where the same old hits, made decades ago, are always playing? Well, here's a very colorful suggestion, full of flamboyant outfits and with a constant hint of moonshine: This kind of tropical rock with the aroma of a small-town grocery store, made to liven up the dances in the most daring homes, Those who don't have the unbearable recordings of the Orquesta Matecaña or the stale memories of radio nostalgia on their playlists these days. For many, it's time to celebrate, and what better way to do so than with new, freshly made music, seasoned with local liquor.

Love is love is love is love. That's what matters. In a time when loneliness hangs in the air, where hatred is a constant companion, where uncertainty is a persistent ache in our stomachs, receiving this token of affection is truly appreciated., Because tenderness (who sees it as so weak) is the most useful weapon to survive the cataclysm. And the entire audiovisual production complements the apparent fragility of this Chilean artist's voice, right down to the low resolution of the images used. The whole clip looks like a low-fi photo album, and the editing cleverly uses color to heighten the sense of melancholy. It's a sensitive, moving work, worth watching repeatedly with a loved one.
