Felipe Mejía is a Colombian producer and singer residing in Richmond, Virginia. While living in Bogotá, he stood out in the music scene as the lead singer of the band Injury, a group associated with what in the mid-2000s was called «nu metal». Interestingly, that project, which managed to gain prominence in certain circles underground From their city, upon separating, various musical projects of different styles emerged among its former members, such as Aire para plomo, Diamante Eléctrico, and Mejía's individual productions, now under the name Orograma. Always demonstrating their vocal prowess and varied sonic tastes, Mejía presents us with an electropop proposal full of nostalgia, somewhat close to what a few years ago was labeled as trip hop. The result is exquisitely crafted, managing to move the viewer from its presentation and instrumental construction. The video accompanying this new single, directed by Juan David Figueroa, is a simple yet tremendously effective combination of personal images projected holographically, exquisitely and appropriately crafted. A work worthy of applause, and one that certainly captures our attention for what's to come.

Francisca ValenzuelaCheers

She knows how to create classic pop and, like few others, captivate audiences. Francisca Valenzuela is brilliant because she knows how to make interesting a style that, in the hands of many, becomes eternally boring. She knows how to add a touch of charm that the repetition of others immediately erases. Perhaps it's because Valenzuela never loses control of what she's doing, and her concept becomes increasingly clear. She even directs her own videos and clearly expresses her aesthetic vision. His songs are nice, pleasant and don't get tangled up in the process. This time, they've created a party anthem full of alcohol, which serves as the perfect excuse for their promotional video to feature several stars of the Latin music scene, including Esteman, Alex Ferreira, Silvia Romero, Fer Casillas, Benjamín Walker, and others. A great way to close out the year and leave some good memories.

Lalo Cortés Step by step

Let's be clear: the Colombian hip hop scene is the fastest growing among popular contemporary genres, defying the disdain it suffered for many years from traditional media. This is due to the amount of outstanding talent that has released its material in recent years, breaking free from the stigma that had long plagued it. We constantly hear new artists emerging and demanding the public's attention, knowing that what they offer is of exceptional quality. Lalo Cortés is one of the most interesting artists of the moment, thanks to his great sense of soul, his fresh sensuality, and the compelling stories contained in his compositions. This time it is being promoted with a clip that tours downtown Bogotá late at night, a city that is increasingly multiracial and cosmopolitan and has understood that flow is part of its current soundtrack.

Astronaut ProjectGirl

Peruvian artist Alberto Zegarra, along with his regular videographer, Percy Céspedes, has always tried to seduce us with his space theories and imaginary flights through the stratosphere. On this occasion, with a short and beautiful ballad of barely two and a half minutes in length, made in collaboration with Noelia Cabrera, singer of Silveria and Blue Velvet, Zegarra invites us on a journey through different worlds, with images filtered using effects from old versions of Photoshop and similar applications, almost seeking to implant his own versions of them in our minds. Gravity or films of that kind. The editing result is curious and striking, and it manages to complement the auditory sensation of the piece quite well.
