Regarding its premiere, we were able to communicate with Manuel Fernandez, of Nube Music Records, The record label behind this venture told us details about this work:

Where did Primavera Stereo come from?
This tribute album arises from the idea of putting current electronic sounds, more precisely...Peep House ypProgressive House to the work of Soda Stereo and thus be able to bring it closer to the new generation of DJs and clubbers.

How was the project curated?
I did the curation, but we worked as a team with the producers, using as a reference a subtle and melodious style, typical of the Progressive style, of which the Argentinian DJ Hernan Cattaneo is a reference.

Did each DJ suggest which song they wanted to remix? Was there any conflict in the selection?
There was a group selection process where everyone chose, but coincidentally there was no tracks Repeated, each producer had their favorite that suited their style and what they wanted to develop.

Yours was The Rite, So, what made you choose her?
I felt that in the progression of soft chords I could give it a soaring structure and thus highlight Gustavo's voice, over a good track rhythm.

Do you think Cerati would have liked the versions included in the compilation?
We have a feeling that he did. We know he was a big fan of electronic music, and he had a great official remix album. Our project aims to be respectful, full of love and nostalgia. And above all, it's a free download with no commercial purpose.

What should a remix, besides of a well-known song, have to be considered high quality?
Beyond the technical aspects, beyond meeting mixing and sound standards, I think it all comes down to musical taste. I believe that respect for the original work is fundamental. We believe we have that.

Finally, do you plan to make more tribute albums in the future?
Although the seal has releases These tributes, sold on Beatport and online stores, are a creative outlet. We'd already done one for Virus, another essential Argentine pop-rock band, and now for Soda Stereo. And yes, the pandemic has given us the time to work on these tributes. New projects are sure to follow.
