Once, using his presence at the last edition of the Hermoso Ruido festival as an excuse, we said that Miss Garrison It was one of the most interesting projects that existed in the most recent Latin American music scene. and that they already had enough resources to expand their good work throughout the continent. Well, a few months later, we get the news of their intense tour through Mexican and Texan territories and, apparently, with the press of the region attentive to what will be their first contact with this Chilean trio.
As this tour begins, Miss Garrison releases the first single from what will be her next album, an initially innocuous tune called At night in the sun. But beware, appearances can be deceiving. This track, reminiscent of 70s ballads, works like the best poisons: Initially it seduces with its tenderness and little by little it traps with its intoxicating textures. At night in the sun It has a clear echo of bygone eras through its keyboards, but as the reverberations and Francisca Straube's backing vocals progress, We are entering more intense and less innocent territory.
