It is clear that classical musical genres can break free from their border confines and find new and vibrant homes to flourish and captivate new listeners. The deep sounds of the Mississippi River can travel thousands of miles and to reach the ears of the Peruvian coast. The blues can be the captivating weapon used by a Lima native named Reo Nerva to attract the attention of locals and strangers alike. His good songs achieve that., regardless of whether some insist on establishing seals that only circumscribe a people or a nation.
His album Snakes It's impeccable. Four fun, honest tracks, recorded and produced with care, leaving no room for complaint about the sound. Nerva's voice stands out and naturally captivates, and the accompanying instruments are perfectly placed. His compositions can be heard on any radio station in the world. Some might complain that Nerva doesn't try hard enough to break the mold of the musical style, but that's splitting hairs. It's clear their effort was focused on creating good songs that would reach their audience without any drama, and They would quickly catch on to his nonchalance and the simplicity of his message. For more complex dilemmas in life, luckily there are other musicians who know how to tell darker stories. Snakes It's an album to celebrate and have a good time. That, from time to time, comes in handy in turbulent times.
