We won't always find among the most interesting Latin artists elaborate speeches that seem taken from the best lines of Shakespeare or Jorge Luis Borges. Some will think we're idiots and tell us that our lyrics are inspired by Neruda's poems When their offering is always a monotonous invitation to shake your ass in different ways, regardless of whether the end of the world feels imminent outside, be it from global warming or friendly jihadists. Others, who know that with their skillful partying and unwavering affability, aren't trying to sell us anything different from a party with great music until dawn and, if possible, good company.

The Panamanian group The Rabbis They have enjoyed more than twenty years of success and have survived because their party is well organized and manages over time to establish new musical portraits of the celebration for each occasion. Also, and importantly, they have a good sense of humor.

His new song, Miami Swing, done in the company of J Ruiz & Japanese, It's funny in its mockery of the prevailing clichés about the North American city. They talk about Pitbull, Don Francisco, El Chapo, and a bunch of "symbols" of Latin entertainment and news culture, while setting the pace for any dance floor and breaking their own boundaries for the umpteenth time. Los Rabanes are, after all this time, beyond good and evil, not caring what others say and instead laughing at anyone who passes by peddling smoke and mirrors. Their thing is having a laugh., So let's not mess with them anymore.
