About twenty years ago, several American artists were asked how they imagined the music of the 21st century and The responses were very varied.. Some predicted an environment filled with machines and new, supersonic noises. Others said that no one would dethrone the power of the electric guitar, asserting that rock, as they knew it, would change little. Very few imagined the return to acoustic music, and I think no one mentioned the presence that the ukulele would have in these times.

It's clear that a large part of the world's population doesn't take seriously the power that some musicians can acquire with a tiny four-string guitar. "It really does look like a toy," the more experienced will say. But artists like the Argentinian Lucía Tacchetti They know how to make their hearts shine with those four strings and compose good topics of happy intimacy, managing to fit into the niches not occupied by other, more complex composers. Tacchetti, who is releasing Holiday, Her new album tells her story through beautiful lyrics, drawing the listener into an uncomplicated, gentle, and captivating experience. Six songs are more than enough to embrace a small universe, different from the one we usually inhabit, and to understand that personal expression doesn't require grand sonic upheavals. Tacchetti knows how to be direct and forceful with her small wooden weapon.

Holiday It's an album to celebrate simplicity. It's time to enjoy it.
