for the American nieces

And after giving this section a break for a week, we turned our attention back to the map, And it made us want to include in our chronicles something about what's happening with the Latinx scene in the United States. And let's put this in context by going back a few years. Not too long ago, I'd say one or two decades at most. We recall the comments of those professionals on this side of the Rio Grande, making many criticisms of what fans and specialized media of Latin music listened to and favored, who, in the midst of a constantly active market like the North American one, They were very outdated and too influenced by the tastes of their parents and grandparents. There was a time when The Little Green Dwarfs were the novelty there, and that, frankly, was very strange., Back then, the proposals here were much more progressive, but they didn't resonate much when they crossed the border. We might be exaggerating, but what we see now is a completely different world., It is the vanguard itself, so much so that many of those who feel Latinxs  They can set a much more interesting trend than that offered by most of the traditional representatives of American pop and rock entertainment. Today the vanguard tShe also resides in the Hispanic communities of Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Austin, and other urban centers in the north. This includes young people, first, second and third generation of immigrants to our neighborhood, who, in several of the cited examples, brilliantly use the combination of languages, bringing for their own convenience or not textures originating from the countries of origin, and that they understand and shape, better than ever, the new audience that serves them.

As is customary in this section, we have prepared, a playlist of 25 tracks, with an approximate duration of seventy-five minutes, in which we have included a small sample (it is never enough, but it serves as an indication of what we are presenting) about what happens to our people in the United States. We feature well-known names on our page such as Ela Minus, Jarina de Marco, Angélica García, Chicano Batmán or Reyna Tropical, and potential stars to watch, such as Manu Manzo, Half Gringa and Miranda del Sol, among others. The list is too short, and we'll probably do a second part in a few months., But we're happy with this compilation, we hope you enjoy it.

No, ma'am, don't insist. This time we did not include reggaeton.
