This playlist isn't about filling a void or fulfilling a quota. It exists because these musicians are here, creating, taking risks, pushing the boundaries of sound for decades, and today, with greater visibility, but still grappling with the same fundamental questions. It's not a gesture of reparation: it's a necessary listening experience.
The artists gathered in this selection work from very different territories, but share a common impulse: the desire to ask no permission. There are intimate songs and others that confront, pieces that engage with tradition and others that dismantle it without nostalgia. Some voices whisper, others strike, others seep in like an underground current. All propose their own way of inhabiting sound.
“Women” is not a genre or a closed aesthetic framework. It is a moving constellation. Here, the experimental and the popular, the political and the everyday, electronica, mutant folk, rock, twisted pop, and music yet to be named all coexist. Each song is an artistic decision made from autonomy and experience.
Listening to this playlist means accepting that the history of music has always been incomplete when told from only one perspective. These songs don't ask to be heard "as women," but as living, powerful, and essential works. The rest is silence that no longer serves our purpose.

🎯 Featured artists of the week
Among all the songs released this week, some not only shone but also moved us deeply. Their unique sound, the stories they tell, and the way they transport us to their own universe all contributed to this.

🎧 Explore Women: the playlist that reflects the best of the Latin American female scene:
The Mujeres playlist is, in short, an invitation to open your ears and eyes: to listen carefully and discover the rich sound that flourishes throughout the continent.
Every Tuesday we update half of the playlist: 20 new songs are added and the 20 oldest ones are removed, always maintaining a total of 40 tracks in rotation. This ensures constant freshness without losing continuity.
The full playlist will always be available on Tidal and Spotify. Each week we'll highlight three artists from our entire selection that have blown us away. Follow us on Instagram (@spinning zone) where we tagged all the included artists
Remember to share new music from Latin America. Your audience will thank you.
