November is over. Christmas advertising has arrived in full force, along with the feigned repentance of sinners who greet their neighbors more kindly, and the exchange of recipes that everyone wants to cook but almost no one manages to make. All of that doesn't stop us from bringing you, as we do every Monday, two dozen songs released in recent weeks in Latin America..This week we have a selection of tracks from Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile, featuring ska, experimental rock, alternative pop, tropical fusion, hip hop, and folk. Highlights include the new song from Mexican band Dandy Overdose, the latest recording from Colombian artist Maria Mulata, the most recent release from Chilean band Protistas, and the delightful musical tapestry of Troker. As we've been saying lately: Grab your headphones, tune out the world, and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from November 27, 2017.
