Friends, let us emphasize a point. It seems we are now in the final days (weeks, months) of the worst of the pandemic, and for those who received all possible doses of vaccination, contracting the virus has been little more than an uncomfortable experience., And that more and more people are becoming aware of the ridiculousness of each of the defenders of scientific denialism and their absurd insistence on false and dangerous theories. for the rest of society. But something does remain, and it needs to be discussed: Our mental health has been affected (and significantly so) by everything that has happened. We have been overwhelmed by the sheer quantity and quality of the tragedies we have had to endure., And that's why nobody can say that he came out the same after everything he'd been through. We are all, to a greater or lesser degree, broken, messed up, in ruins; some are rebuilding, others are silent, but we all have the need to express that something happened and left us incomplete, while also understanding that our peers have gone through similar situations., that we are not the only ones experiencing it. It may sound corny, or worse, dangerous, to trivialize our sorrows, but we must talk about it. Silence may be prudent, but in many cases it breeds resentment, ignorance, and undue violence. And, while we begin that conversation, Don't forget to add good music as an essential soundtrack for reconciliation and peace.

For the third time in 2022, we compiled a weekly list of new songs made in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico, labeled as Pop, Fusion, Folk, Hip Hop, Folklore, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we added the new single from Pahua,  the latest production of The Girl, the new publication of Turf and the most recent recording of Acid Coco.

We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist for January 21, 2021.
