Once again gathered in the Editorial Board, searching for topics to investigate, the girls from the social media department reported that some dinosaurs, perhaps taking advantage of the release of the film that pits Godzilla against King Kong, have returned as their battle cry that phrase coined by Pappo (the Argentinian guitarist, not the Dominican merengue house singer), who said «"Countries in the world that are doing well, without problems, listen to blues and rock and roll. Countries that fall into disgrace listen to cumbia.". And the phrase was uttered several years ago, in an interview given by "El Carpo" to a regional newspaper, surely railing against the phenomenon of villera music and bands like Damas Gratis and Pibes Chorros, Among others. And surely, those who replicate and update these statements intend to tailor the quote to their disdain for reggaeton and other similar genres popular these days. The staff handling our archive material then recalled that, because of grandiose words like these, someone occasionally cites an unverifiable university study conducted at some obscure educational institution in the developed world, which claims that those who listen to rock are more intelligent than those who listen to more festive urban music. And amidst the laughter that ensued, the company's party case secretary uttered the wise words of the evening: «"That kid Pappo was probably always a bitter one. By trying to act like a bad rocker, he missed out on more than one party in his life. He should have shaken his ass more during the dancing."». When it was time to applaud, some rude person turned on the sound system and the following sounded:

«"They seemed fake to me."
All your words
Your hands were lying to me
When they stroked me
What good did it do to beg you?
So that you would stay
My mistake was giving you everything.
When you're worthless.
