Dedicated to Petrona and Yoyis, princesses of a house full of music
Instead of wars, we'll talk about cats this week. Because, amidst all this madness, A theory has reached the department of brilliant intergalactic conspiracies that is gaining strength among the uninformed, those who want to annoy the rest of their family, and the emotionally unstable. It is said that felines, especially those that have become part of our homes over time, are not of terrestrial origin and that their presence is instead part of an alien invasion. They say that these animals arrived on our planet a little over five thousand years ago., a little before the construction of the pyramids of Egypt. And precisely, those who support this theory say, that's where the cats arrived, because they were attracted to the desert sand. No one connects the felines with the construction of the royal tombs for the pharaohs, nor with anything related to the region's later architecture. These creatures were looking for a place where, without losing their status as discreet deities or harming their hosts, they could be pampered and pass for innocent animals. Thus began, it seems, that beautiful story full of fur, meows, and eternal naps.
Of course, it's an unproven theory and is rejected by people like Yoan Zouma, West Ham footballer, and other serial cat kickers, and nobody is asking for it to be included in school biology textbooks, but, the truth is, we prefer to fall into that kind of story worthy of the worst Disney screenwriter, rather than try to pass ourselves off as the masters of indignation, the defenders of the satraps and the friends of the Madrid Forum. Now then, excuse me, it's time to give the milk to the royalty of the house.
