Some leaders, instead of inspiring hope, smile at the people's despair. Some inept individuals in power propose a near-permanent suspension of concerts, gatherings in bars, and the end of live performances. With no data beyond stubbornness, cynicism, and despair, they want to kill the arts and entertainment scene in a vile and shameless manner. The forces of repression, the speculators, the cretins, and the naive celebrate. In those places where these kinds of activities are restricted, within three seconds of any decree, clandestine events, gigs in unsanitary venues, and the trafficking of sounds against the system will return. We will meet again where we can't be seen, perhaps in the basement of a flower shop, in the cellars of an abandoned record factory, or in the same old bars, but with signs advertising old furniture or legal medications. But music (yes, music, our weapon against foolishness) will survive, despite everything. For the fifteenth time in 2020, we surrender to resistance with twenty new songs coming from Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico, which sound like Pop, Hip Hop, Folk, Blues, Electronic, Fusion and Rock. Among others, we added the new single from Sweet and Sour, the latest production of The Shirota, the new publication of Silver Revolver and the most recent recording of Indians.
