Every week, starting at midnight, the first minute of Friday, Bogotá time, We set about creating what we believe will be an important part of the soundtrack for the next seven days for some of our readers. Between the information we receive in advance, and the various updates we find in different lists, we built a compilation of twenty new songs made in Latin America and organized them in such a way that they go beyond looking like a meaningless bunch of recordings and instead simulate the best possible trip to accompany the spirit of what will be experienced during the week. Therefore, each song occupies a specific place in the order we've designed, hoping the listener will ride the wave of sound we're creating. Sometimes it works better than others, but we're also somewhat influenced by the luck of each occasion. We don't mean to sound boastful, but at times we feel we're doing something that might seem incomprehensible to some (we're a bit neurotic and spartan in our approach), but for others—and we've thanked them every time they've told us so—it's already become an integral part of their daily lives. As always, we hope that today (no matter when you listen to this playlist) you enjoy it and share our love for the best independent music on this continent.

For the seventeenth time in 2022, we're releasing a new weekly chart of new songs made in Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico, labeled as Pop, Fusion, Folk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Folklore, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we added the new single from Diego Frenkel, the latest production of Neoma, the new publication of Mandele Mecha and the most recent recording of Maya Endo.
We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from April 29, 2022.
If any of our followers would like to showcase their illustration work and collaborate with Zonagirante.com, please contact us and send your portfolio to zonagirante@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance.
