It seems May is the month when we desperately want to fall in love. May is a crazy month. More than one acquaintance walks the streets with a haughty look, hoping to bump into their next loved one, their partner, the one who will solve their anxieties and despair. May, according to some statistics, is the season for subscribing to any dating app, believing that the solution to their sorrows and misfortunes lies online. In May, national associations of hairdressers and companies dedicated to practical body beauty solutions report weeks of extremely high activity for incorporating new haircuts and selling early Botox to cure the wrinkles that make us miserable. Anyway, friends, don't worry. To avoid falling into the despair of this month, the best thing to do is watch and listen to the best music of the season. This week continues the wave of new releases from our continent, and as always, we're showcasing twenty songs recently uploaded to digital platforms. These recordings, made in Colombia, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Mexico, feature pop, blues, fusion, electronic, punk, folk, and rock sounds. Among others, we add the new single from Alejandro and Maria Laura, the latest production of Indians, the new publication of Porter and the most recent recording of Fernando Milagros.
We repeat our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from May 13, 2019.
