Maria remains locked inside her home, despite seeing many people already out on the streets. She says things aren't safe yet. The moment she peeks out the window and sees some of her friends strolling around as if nothing has happened, she scolds them for being irresponsible. She yells that if she can see the color of their lipstick from her apartment, something is seriously wrong. One day, she took out a pitcher of water to splash the one wearing a miniskirt with her face uncovered. Maria checks the main news websites every hour to confirm that the number of infections is rising. She dusted off the calculator she had stored away in old boxes and calculates percentages with chilling figures. Maria believes there is still a risk on the streets. The only time Maria calms down is when she turns on her stereo and listens to music. Only then does she find peace. For the twenty-first time in 2020, rest and good vibes arrive thanks to twenty new songs coming from Colombia, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Uruguay, Peru, Chile and Mexico, which sound like Pop, Fusion, Folk, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we added the new single from La Vida Boheme, the latest production of Alejandro and Maria Laura, the new publication of Rita Indiana and the most recent recording of The Spirits.
We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from May 29, 2020.
