In the United States, a strange social movement has been taking to the streets. It's a group called Birds are not real. Birds aren't real. What you see flying in the air, with their beautiful plumage and their unique songs They are not living beings, they are sophisticated surveillance machines. The organization relies on alleged statements made by the former president. Richard Nixon in 1978:

«"We needed a way to monitor American citizens without their knowledge. It was imperative, for their own safety, of course. We hired only the best. It took years. We designed, built, tested, failed. We persisted. Finally, for decades, we had it. A fleet of covert technological surveillance devices the likes of which the world had never seen before. We called them, 'Birds.'".

Imagine the level of panic we'll experience if this whole scheme turns out to be true. We might even confirm that, given the variety displayed in ornithological catalogs, in the heart of the Amazon, home to the largest number of winged creatures on the planet, What's really hidden amidst the jungle foliage are large laboratories manufacturing these kinds of drones. The fear and disgust some people feel for pigeons would be justified, and we would no longer feel repulsion for those serial haters. We would return, quite rightly, to using feathers in our clothing without any guilt., because we would not be sacrificing any living being, but rather the disguise of a ruthless machine. Perhaps, faced with the deluge of documents and official confessions, we will discover that behind the cheerful sounds of birds lies the intricate plan of multinational record labels to impose certain melodies that will resonate in our memories for a long time, just as they did with reggaeton. We will continue to report on this.

For the twenty-seventh time in 2021, We enjoyed the echo of the music in the airAnd, as we do every week, we've put together a new playlist of contemporary Latin American music, featuring 20 brand-new songs made in Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, Chile and Mexico,  whose sound is related to labels such as  Pop, Fusion, Folk, Hip Hop, Folklore, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we've added the new single from Child God,  the latest production of The Rabbis, the new publication of Palo Pandolfo and the most recent recording of Aura Blum.

We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist for July 9, 2021.
