It's the Southern Hemisphere summer, and they say that at night on some beaches in the Southern Cone, seagulls take refuge in caves to avoid sudden frostbite. It's the Northern Hemisphere winter, and some say the snow isn't arriving as usual. And yet, some leaders, especially those with orange hair and little brainpower, continue to deny global warming. Still, the music keeps playing, and every day brings surprises. This week we've been keeping an eye on new releases, and so we're presenting the third official playlist of the year, featuring 20 tracks that have been available on digital platforms for just a few days. It's a compilation of recordings from Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, the United States, and Mexico, with sounds ranging from Pop and Electronic to Folk and Rock. Among others, we add the new single from Mundaka, the latest production of Serbia, the new publication of Nicola Cruz, and the most recent recording of Baby Beast.
We repeat our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from January 28, 2019.
