We're on a quest for the continent's newest sounds. And it's clear that the range of textures is constantly expanding. In compiling this list of new releases, we strive to find and promote the most progressive sounds of the moment. We look for artists who present us with recordings that are surprising, daring, that break the mold of what dominates the market and awaken the audience from its slumber. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't. Sometimes we simply present a compilation of good songs that, even so, don't quite satisfy us as a whole. As long as we achieve a high percentage of our goal, we'll be happy. This week we believe we've accomplished our mission, and so we proudly present the new Zonagirante.com playlist, featuring twenty great tracks from across our hemisphere. Two dozen brilliantly crafted recordings ready to be listened to again and again. We bring you songs from Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Mexico, encompassing Pop, Hip Hop, Fusion, Electronic, and Rock. Among others, we add the new single from Delfina Dib, the latest production of Child God, the new publication of De Monaco and the most recent recording of Tourist.
We repeat our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from August 26, 2019.
