Some of our colleagues at the Zonagirante.com office have decided to stop following the news. At midday, when others slow down and watch the news while having lunch to recalculate their chances of survival, they, like archaic rebels, have decided to bring out some old gadgets to predict the future. Someone has brought from home an I Ching made by the Colombian artist Omar Rayo, with coins of strange metals that fulfill their function of speaking in curious languages what will happen in the coming days. Another, a bit more obvious and somewhat more fatalistic, carries a Ouija board in his briefcase, claiming that through it his ancestors will speak to us and calm us. There are those who say that in seeing the cloudy skies this season they have found glimmers of sunshine that others haven't seen, and in these they place their faith, suspecting that in a few weeks the smiles we're all longing for will arrive. In short, we're all crazy, it's obvious.

For the thirty-fifth time in 2020, we feed our appetites with recent sounds, listening one after another to the twenty new songs included in this list, all from Colombia., Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Chile and Mexico, and whose sound is related to labels such as Pop, Fusion, Folk, Hip Hop, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we added the new single from The Makana, the latest production of Pepe Mogt, the new publication of Juan Astronauta and the most recent recording of Gala Brie.

We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist for September 4, 2020.

If any of our followers would like to showcase their illustration work and collaborate with Zonagirante.com, please contact us and send your portfolio to zonagirante@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance.
