The streets are ablaze. The landscape is filled with fire and rage. Popular uprisings are taking place in Santiago, Lima, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Quito. Regardless of the initial reasons for each protest, everyone is complaining about unjust governments, increasing impoverishment, and relentless repression. The streets are burning, and the naive don't understand what's happening. The world is bursting into flames, but the music never stops.  This week we enjoyed unexpected premieres, sonic pieces that float on the air, recordings with which we've built the updated playlist for Zonagirante.com, twenty chapters drawn from the latest Latin catalog. Two dozen varied tunes, ready to ignite the soul in turbulent times. We bring you songs made in Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, and Mexico, that sound like Pop, Hip Hop, Folk, Fusion, and Rock. Among others, we've added the new single from Mad Tree, the latest production of Chetes, the new publication of Pedropiedra and the most recent recording of Rosario Ortega.

We repeat our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from October 21, 2019.
