Never consider it a war, but the truth is that We are deeply bored by much of the discussion and praise that comes from the more commercial media when talking about music. It's difficult to respect those who went from selfishly judging local talent and programming it on radio stations to becoming mediocre football commentators, knowing nothing about either. We've always disliked the arrogant types who climbed the ladder by stepping on their colleagues and pretending to support their city's music scene while simultaneously censoring their own songs on their radio stations. We detest those who disguised themselves as benefactors of art and behind the curtains collected their commission to include artists in their events or to play their songs on their frequencies. We distance ourselves from the sycophants who are willing to praise anyone to get free entry to festivals. Having said that, we are happy to be friends with those who like to talk about music with passion., those who remember songs that are part of the most important moments of their lives, Those who write about what's happening in their city or country in the arts, hoping their readers will catch their enthusiasm. We adore those who tell us about their joy at concerts, not about how much they mingled with this or that star. We're naive, some might say, but it's better to stay away from the vermin and get closer to true friends.

For the forty-first time in 2020, we insist on indulging music lovers and are premiering twenty new tunes made in Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Chile and Mexico, whose sound is related to labels such as Pop, Reggae, Fusion, Folk, Hip Hop, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we added the new single from Baby Beast, the latest production of Blond, the new publication of Elis Paprika and the most recent recording of Mabiland.

We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from October 16, 2020.

If any of our followers would like to showcase their illustration work and collaborate with Zonagirante.com, please contact us and send your portfolio to zonagirante@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance.
