The eleventh month is approaching, preceded by what could be described as the busiest weekend in some cities across the continent. These are the days many have been anticipating, discussing for weeks. Whether it's a pirate costume or a Marvel superhero outfit, Whether posing as a local Kardashian is still in style and fashionable, whether a whip is superfluous for posing with a bad-girl selfie for Instagram at a party… The revelry at this or that bar, the performance by this or that DJ who's becoming the talk of the town. Halloween excites many, but at the Zonagirante.com office, it's only popular with the accounting staff and those who get free tickets to major events., Because they are the ones who have flattered the organizers all year, then getting their reward for being such suck-ups. The rest of us don't care much about these celebrations and are quite annoyed that, the very next day, almost as if by official order, any opportunity to propose new projects is postponed until February of next year. Mind you, nobody stops working, nobody goes on vacation, but it's a time for unsolicited summaries and phrases like «"Well, 2021 is over, don't insist.". The new is postponed, imagination rests, and now all that remains is to see the Christmas decorations and the inappropriate opportunists dressed as Santa Claus, trying to paint the Caribbean in Scandinavian colors. We have lost the battle, but we will persist: Please don't let November die so early.

For the forty-third time in 2021, we're reaping, as in any season, great new Latin songs, and so we're launching a weekly list with 20 recently produced tunes made in Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Mexico,  labeled as  Pop, Fusion, Folk, Hip Hop, Folklore, Electronic and Rock. Among others, we've added the new single from Perrosky,  the latest production of Naia Valdez, the new publication of Pahua and the most recent recording of Rare Fish.

We repeat once again our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist for October 29, 2021.

If any of our followers would like to showcase their illustration work and collaborate with Zonagirante.com, please contact us and send your portfolio to zonagirante@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance.
