While some uniformed officers think the general population is getting high on empanadas, and certain leaders in the hemisphere are increasingly convinced that the only way to cling to power is by inciting war, thankfully the majority want to live in peace and enjoy good music. February sometimes feels like a circus, but the new songs brighten up the days.  This week we're showcasing the latest hits, giving us the opportunity to create our sixth official playlist of the year, featuring 20 tracks that have been available on digital platforms for just a few hours. Our selection includes songs from Uruguay, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico, encompassing Pop, Electronic, Country, Folk, and Rock. Among others, we add the new single from Naia Valdez, the latest production of Twin Shadow, the new publication of Lika Nova and the most recent recording of You're not going to like it next to Julieta Venegas.

We repeat our favorite phrase for these kinds of occasions: Find your headphones, step away from the world and listen. This is the Zonagirante.com playlist from February 18, 2019.
