2023: A new chapter begins for Banderas de Ruido, the Zonagirante.com podcast. We kick off this new phase by interviewing a legend of European music. It's... Horacio Blanco, frontman of the Venezuelan band Public Disorder, a popular ska and other tropical music group, which, since 1985, has made millions of people around the world jump and dance.

Blanco, without abandoning his original project, has decided to venture into a parallel project as a solo artist, where he is experimenting more with new wave, art rock and dubstep. At the end of last year, he released a three-song EP, Conexión, Greetings from Caracas y Soulless, A preview of what will be her album, which will be released in mid-2023. In a short but substantial time, We managed to talk to him about his present, the current situation in his country, and his future plans.

Some of our episodes are produced in a Music + Chat format, a feature offered by Anchor.fm, our Spotify-owned aggregator. Those with a Spotify Premium account can listen to the full songs we've included from the featured artist. This feature is available on the vast majority of countries on the continent. On free Spotify accounts and other platforms, these types of podcasts will only contain a 30-second sample of the included tracks. We're sure that the list of countries included in this playlist grows with each passing day. Meanwhile, we..., We will continue to use this tool in a large part of our recordings to promote music made on our continent.
