Personally, I feel a little joy every time I receive a new song from Silver Revolver. This band, through their ability to fill the air with their rarefied, intense, intimate, and heart-wrenching rock, tells their life stories and makes us feel like they're talking about each and every one of us. Everyone chooses their favorite song; they speak (or at least that's how it feels) of how painful and, at the same time, entertaining life can be. They find beauty amidst misery, transforming misfortune into a contagious story worth following closely.
Silver Revolver continues to produce and releases its new song Seven, a song that can be described as a heartbreak tune in the style of stoner blues, with tense vocals and a heavy sound mix without ever losing any detail about the melody, A powerful weapon that the gang always uses to its advantage. However, amidst the thick of the compositional clamor, a saxophone suddenly suspends the obvious and surprises, perhaps to mark a halo of optimism.
Seven It's a good key to unlocking what's coming for these Colombians in 2016. Hopefully next year begin to experience the recognition they deserve throughout Latin America.
