March 8th is coming, International Women's Day, And massive demonstrations are being prepared in major cities across the Western Hemisphere. Groups advocating for women's rights, equal pay, and the fight against gender violence will be out in force again., out of respect for our mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters. Massive marches are expected in Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Bogotá, Caracas, and other capitals across the continent. While that unfolds, we at Zonagirante.com have decided to pay tribute to Latin American women with a special playlist. We have selected some of the best voices from this side of the world, each performing their own version of great hits that you will all instantly recognize. Women like Fabiana Cantilo, Andrea Echeverry, Camila Moreno, Natalia Lafourcade, and other artists from Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, the United States and Argentina come together virtually to pay tribute to Agustín Lara, Gustavo Cerati, Fito Páez, José José, Sandro and other representatives of great world music.
