Editor's note: We continue to invite various Latin American artists to tell us in their own words what their ten all-time favorite Latin songs are and the reason for their choice. This time, the Argentine singer-songwriter Cata Raybaud is participating., who recently released his album Tribu. Here's the tracklist:

I am bread, I am peace, I am more (Piero)

I first heard it at home, on the radio. I remember I was little and I fell completely in love with it! It was the version by Mercedes Sosa and Piero, and many years later I recorded my own live version at Estudio Bulo. which can be found on all digital platforms and on YouTube.

Jacinta (Eduardo Mateo)

During our school years, my brother and I would share lunchtime, and that's where the music came in. We'd go from the computer to the stereo, to the radio, and so on, guitar in hand and whatever else was nearby to play with. That was our favorite way to pass the time, and that's how we discovered Jacinta. It's such a sweet song that captivated me as soon as I heard it. My brother sings it so beautifully!

O last by do sol (Lenine)

I first heard this song in a Brazilian dance class, and as soon as it started playing, I knew it would be with me for a long time. Thanks to it, I discovered Lenine and her world.

March Waters (Tom Jobim)

My mother adores Brazilian music, so at home we always played Caetano Veloso, Jobim, João Gilberto, Maria Bethânia, Elis Regina, Marisa Monte, and many more. Aguas de Março is fresh and joyful. That final improvisation by Jobim and Elis makes me smile; it fills me with joy. Pure beauty.

Bleeding Peach (Luis Alberto Spinetta)

I'll never forget when I picked up the guitar to try and play Bleeding Peach. It was magical; I had no musical knowledge yet. I placed my fingers where I felt and began to trace the same pattern down, while surprisingly, it sounded very similar to... Bleeding Peach. A topic that caught my attention because of its form, its structure, its magic and depth.

Tea for three (Soda Stereo)

Cyclical, like the themes that take hold of me and I listen to them on a loop over and over again.

I pray for you (Charly)

I started singing live when I was 15 years old and I pray for you It was one of the hottest songs at the time; that power and that distinctive intro made me want to jump.

Let them go (Fito Paez)

When I was 8 years old I was given the record Circo Beat Fito's album, and using the "karaoke" function on his stereo, he would sing the entire record with the microphone plugged in, from beginning to end. When he arrived Let them go I was overcome with a wonderful feeling; I felt like the guy was singing with his heart on his sleeve, I could almost picture it. Pure magic.

We'll see each other again (Seru Giran)

A campfire song that left us all feeling soft and emotional. It accompanied different stages of my life and brings back wonderful memories.

At first glance (Chico Cesar)

I remember when I first heard it. It was at Niceto, where I sang every Wednesday with a regular group of musicians and singers. Sol Mihanovich and Barbie Martinez, two friends who were a gift to me through music, performed it as a duet, and it was love at first sight.
