Allow us, dear reader, to be passionately exaggerated: Every day since January 10, 2016, we miss David Bowie. We haven't gotten used to the idea that the British chameleon no longer lives on this planet. In a world that is reborn every day with yet another defeat, not having this artist among us is an undeniable testament to our fragility as humans. He, like few others, taught us to be freer, to reinvent ourselves every day., to think that the beings we were yesterday, would not return to walk the earth in the same way in the days to come. Therefore, friends, we claim the right to be exaggerated, because such an imperfect but imposing deity left in the same surprising way that he arrived, because nobody expected him and, once he had conquered and made the universe in his own way, he left without anyone predicting it.

Today in particular does not mark any important anniversary of what Bowie did in his extensive career. We don't remember it now because anything in particular is being commemorated. We were simply overcome with nostalgia and wanted to pay tribute. We found ten versions of his songs recorded on this side of the world, in different styles, but all incredibly respectful of the original work, and therefore, well worth a listen. We'll start with that acoustic format he uses Kevin Johansen to sing Modern Love, ...even the brilliantly noisy way he chooses Capsule of interpreting Ziggy Stardust, including the now legendary recording of Seu Jorge of several of his songs for the soundtrack of The Life Aquatic, including the unforgettable Rebel Rebel.

Anyway, David Robert Jones, better known by his stage name David Bowie, no matter what distant galaxy you moved to since January 2016, We send you our most heartfelt message. And we promise that, whether with your voice present, or with the covers made by our favorite Latin artists, we will remember you every afternoon of our lives that it is necessary. Thanks Starman.
