Editor's note: Patricio Vallarino, a longtime friend of our site, is, in his own words, "ElectroPerformer/Singer/Producer in (Central Eléctrica Discos). Their record label is one of the most interesting in the current wave of new electronic music from the Southern Cone. Their project, Patokai, has managed to attract the attention of fans of the current underground trends in Buenos Aires. His list of ten favorite Latin music songs of all time, it must be said, is fascinating. Party girl, daring, fun, avant-garde: It's time to listen to her.

1) Gustavo Cerati Press

Gustavo Cerati was always one of the most prominent promoters of crossing the Atlantic from rock to electronic music in Latin America, as demonstrated in most of his solo albums, or in projects like Holy Colors next to Daniel Melero, Roken and Plan V.

2) BabasónicosThe Hot Ones

Jessica It was an album that changed the history of Babasónicos and Latin American music forever, with this track playing on repeat in our subconscious, urging us to enjoy it. (Fun fact: this track features the production of the great Argentinian electronic musician...) Ernesto Romeo de Klauss).

3) Holy InnocentsRockstar

High-energy electrorock infused with glam in this hit by Santos Inocentes, which, along with their album Megaton, This made them the first Latin American band to sign with Maverick, Madonna's signature.

4) Mosh Play-Doh – Mr. P-Mosh

The Monterrey duo teams up with different producers, including Jason Roberts who was a producer for Cypress Hill, to do the beatmaking of one of their most successful songs, supported by the programming of MTV Latino when it used to be a music channel.

5) Paranoid MiceLink (Remix by Diego Ro-K)

Diego Ro-K, one of the most rock-oriented DJs to emerge from the Argentinian scene, who promoted electroclash in early 2001 by bringing artists like Vitalic to Argentina for the first time, has created this remix of the Ratones Paranoicos classic.

6) Alejandro PazHard

From Chile, the label Eat me, directed by Matías Aguayo, Among very good music, there is an artist like Alejandro Paz, who updates the electronic music of the 90s with a more current sound.

7) AddictedYour evil

A gem of Argentinian electropop, the sensitivity of Adrian Nievas (Toto), the beats and synthesizers of Rudie Martinez, who also contributes to Audioperú y SanMartin Vampire, Together they transformed Adicta into a dark, velvety, and pleasant landscape to traverse.

8) Maria Daniela and her Laser SoundBirthday party

From Mexico, Maria Daniela Azpiazu and Emilio Acevedo invite you to their birthday party to treat you like their slave. Electro 90s at full steam! I love the Mexican electro scene with artists like Silverio from the defunct label Nuevos Ricos, and new values such as Silvertronic.

9) Miranda Your Game

The Locomotion channel and Secsy Discos promoted many artists in the late 90s and early 2000s, creating a magical moment for Argentine indietronica. Miranda's album, my favorite, is the most electronic, featuring programming and synthesizers by Bruno De Vincenti.

10) Tasmanian Devils– Weekend

From Argentina, a punk leader with Brit-inspired influences, along with a talented band, speeding through the 90s nightlife, leaving this hit song etched in the ether of Latin American electrorock.
