These are times when we see that new generations of musicians have found a path where they can achieve  a unique identity that is not forced to be labelled with Creole folkloric roots to feel that they are doing something of their own, something local, something that distinguishes them from the rest of the world scene. It's not about establishing closed concepts of identification, it's more about noticing that Colombian rock is achieving a new sound that is becoming interesting not only among its neighbors but also has the capacity to fully reach the Latin American environment. A great example of this, as we have noted before, is Oh'laville.
